C. Leland Rogers, MD

“Radiation is simply light. Due only to modest variations in it properties, different forms of radiation bring vision to our eyes, information to our computers, sound over our radios, pictures on our TVs, heat to microwaved food, and cures to cancer and many benign ailments. Once I realized this, radiation therapy, for me, became the most artful of sciences and professions. Since my appreciation of this over three decades ago, the technologies permitting precise delivery of light for patients have advanced tremendously. We can, via several means nowadays, focus radiation precisely where it needs to go. There is even more art and beauty in that.”
